Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Baku. Travel to Gobustan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rock petroglyphs. The area has been settled since the 8th millennium BC and is known for hosting thousands of rock engravings spread over 100 square km.

See depictions of hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations, and animals. Admire the oldest petroglyphs, which date back to the 12th century BC. In 2007, UNESCO included the “Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape” in the World Heritage list.

Next, visit the mud volcanoes, one of the many wonders of mother nature. About 350 out of the 800 mud volcanoes known in the world are located in Azerbaijan. Continue to the Bibi Heybat Mosque, locally known as “the mosque of Fatima.”
