Multi-Day Uyuni & Colored Lagoons Adventure

Travel from La Paz to discover the Uyuni Salt Flats and the colorful landscapes of Bolivia’s Altiplano. Enjoy overnight bus travel, a 3-day 4x4 adventure, included meals, and two nights of accommodation along the route.

Day 1 – Overnight Bus from La Paz to Uyuni

Make your way to the La Paz Bus Terminal and check in before departure at approximately 9:00 PM. Settle into your reclining seat and travel overnight to Uyuni. The bus is equipped with an onboard restroom and heating for a comfortable journey.

Please bring 2.50 BOB in cash per person to pay the mandatory bus terminal fee before departure.

Day 2 – Uyuni Salt Flats & Sunset

Arrive in Uyuni in the morning, where our staff will meet you when your bus arrives. Continue to our office to prepare for the adventure and depart by 4x4 at approximately 10:30 AM.

Visit the Train Cemetery and Colchani before entering the incredible Uyuni Salt Flats. Discover Playa Blanca, the Dakar Monument, Flags of the World, and the natural salt eyes.

Continue to Incahuasi Island, famous for its giant cacti and panoramic views across the Salar. Enjoy perspective photos and finish the day watching the sunset with a light snack and a glass of wine. Dinner and overnight accommodation are included.

Day 3 – Colored Lagoons, Flamingos & Desert

After breakfast, travel across the Chiguana Desert and enjoy views of Ollagüe Volcano. Continue to Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota lagoons, where flamingos can often be spotted.

Cross the Siloli Desert, visit the famous Stone Tree, and reach the spectacular Laguna Colorada inside the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve. Enjoy dinner and your second overnight stay in the Altiplano.

Day 4 – Geysers, Hot Springs & Overnight Bus

Start early and visit the Sol de Mañana geothermal field before continuing to Polques Hot Springs, the Dalí Desert, and the Green and White Lagoons near Licancabur Volcano.

Begin the return journey through the Valley of the Rocks and San Cristóbal, arriving in Uyuni in the late afternoon.

Later, make your way to the bus terminal and depart at approximately 9:00 PM aboard your overnight bus to La Paz. Travel comfortably with a reclining seat, onboard restroom, and heating.

Day 5 – Arrival in La Paz

Arrive in La Paz at approximately 6:30 AM, where your multi-day journey across the Uyuni Salt Flats and Bolivia’s incredible Altiplano comes to an end.
