Your first major stop is Travnik, a charming town surrounded by mountains and known for its Ottoman heritage. For more than 150 years, Travnik was the seat of the Ottoman viziers who governed Bosnia, leaving behind a fascinating collection of historical monuments, mosques, traditional houses, and stories.

Explore the old town with your guide and visit the impressive Travnik Fortress, which offers beautiful views over the town and surrounding valley. Continue to the famous Blue Water, known locally as Plava Voda, one of Travnik's most popular meeting places. Here, you can experience the relaxed atmosphere of the town and enjoy traditional Bosnian coffee beside the flowing water.

Travnik is also closely connected with Nobel Prize-winning author Ivo Andrić. You will have the opportunity to visit his birth house and learn more about one of the most important writers from this part of Europe.

After Travnik, continue through Central Bosnia towards Jajce, one of the country's most remarkable historical towns.

Jajce was once the capital of the medieval Bosnian Kingdom and the residence of Bosnian kings. Walk through its historic streets while your guide introduces you to the stories of medieval Bosnia and the different civilizations that shaped the town.

Visit the medieval catacombs, an unusual underground complex carved into the rock, and discover their connection with the Bosnian royal period.

One of the highlights of the day is the famous Jajce Waterfall. Located directly in the historic center, where the Pliva River meets the Vrbas River, this impressive natural landmark makes Jajce one of the most distinctive towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The journey then continues to the peaceful Pliva Lakes, surrounded by greenery and beautiful scenery. Nearby, visit the traditional Pliva Watermills, small wooden mills that have stood between the lakes for centuries and have become one of the most recognizable sights of Central Bosnia.
