Plovdiv is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe - over 6,000 years of history layered into cobblestone streets, ancient hills, and a creative district that feels nothing like a museum. This is a private, documentary-style photography session through the Old Town and beyond, led by a photographer with over 10 years of experience and a master's degree in photography.
Forget stiff, posed tourist photos. This session is about capturing you actually experiencing the city - walking, laughing, discovering - not performing for the camera. Every shot is candid and natural, timed around golden hour or evening light for the most flattering, cinematic result.
Where we meet
Meet your photographer at Dzhumaya Square, next to the Roman Stadium - its ancient remains still visible on the square, alongside a scale model showing how the full arena once looked. From there, we wander through Revival-era cobblestone lanes, past colorful 19th-century merchant houses and hidden courtyards most visitors walk right past. Depending on your session, we may also climb one of Plovdiv's ancient hills for a panoramic view over the city, or cross into Kapana - the buzzing creative district full of street art, galleries, and cafés.
Along the way, you'll be guided naturally through poses and moments, with the emphasis on authenticity over stiffness. No modeling experience needed - show up and let the walk unfold.

You'll find the ancient stadium remains and a scale model showing what the original arena looked like, right where the pedestrian street begins. Your photographer will be waiting there, camera in hand, making them easy to spot.
