Day 1 takes you across the world-famous 32.5 km Donghai Bridge to Yangshan Port and onto a high-speed ferry to Shengsi's main island. After a fisherman-family seafood lunch, the afternoon belongs to Da Wang Beach, one of the East China Sea's quietest coves: fine golden sand, gentle slope, beach umbrellas already set up. Sunset belongs to the wharf — pick your seafood live from the tanks and watch the local crew grill it on the spot, cold Shengsi beer in hand.

Day 2 is the deep dive. A short inter-island ferry brings you to Shengshan Island and Houtouwan — the 'green ghost village' that went viral worldwide when nature reclaimed an entire stone fishing settlement. Walk the new wooden boardwalk into the empty streets, then continue to the Dongya Cliffs at China's easternmost inhabited point: 80 meters of vertical drop into the East China Sea, with a coffee stop at the cliff-edge café. Late afternoon, board a speedboat to a real working mussel farm and stand on the floating raft as the crew opens fresh sea urchins and scallops on the spot — just for you.
