In addition to nature, the Galapagos Islands have a history. Visit the Interpretation Center, hike Cerro Las Tijeretas and relax on Punta Carola beach.
We will visit the Interpretation Center to learn about the evolution and history of the Galapagos Archipelago and especially the human history of the islands.
We will continue with a walk along an ecological trail for about 20 minutes until we reach the Cerro Las Tijeretas, we will observe endemic plants and a small colony of frigate birds between adults and juveniles, finches, mockingbirds, we will also appreciate the beautiful scenery through its viewpoints, a statue of Charles Darwin and a small bay where you can observe and swim with sea lions, tropical fish and possibly sea turtles.
Then we will walk to Punta Carola site to enjoy its wonderful beach, relax and swim. This beach is known for its great waves and very important for surfers. Return to the hotel.
