Every city has its secrets. Bordeaux whispers them to those willing to listen...
Bordeaux is famous for its elegant architecture and world-renowned wine, but beneath its beautiful streets lies a lesser-known history waiting to be explored.
Join us on a 2-hour dark history walking tour through the heart of Bordeaux and learn about historical accounts of murders, public executions, betrayals, witchcraft, medieval justice, disappearances and forgotten legends.
The tour begins at La Grosse Cloche and finishes at the Cathédrale Saint-André, taking you through some of Bordeaux’s most iconic landmarks and historic streets.
Along the way, discover the dramatic story of Eleanor of Aquitaine, learn about medieval justice and punishments, explore hidden symbols and local legends, and discover how historical events shaped the city we see today.
This isn’t a ghost tour based on made-up stories — it’s an immersive journey through Bordeaux’s real history, including the lesser-known events and stories that have shaped the city, brought to life through engaging storytelling.
We keep our groups friendly and interactive, and we’re always happy to recommend local restaurants, cafés and hidden places after the tour.
