Crater Lake Game Sanctuary in Naivasha is situated about 10 km from Naivasha town and approximately 90 km from Nairobi. It is a small, privately owned sanctuary built around a scenic saline alkaline lake known as Crater Lake, also called Sonachi. The lake lies just west of Lake Naivasha and north of Kongoni village. The sanctuary is well known for its distinctive dining experiences, including a floating restaurant set on the lake.
Afterwards, visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary where you will enjoy a boat ride that will take you to the Island. You will have a chance to spot different species of aquatic birds. Visitors can enjoy a guided walking safari, offering close encounters with herbivores such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, waterbucks, hippos and many other wildlife species.
