Schedule:
Your day begins with a pick-up between 8:30 - 9:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha, Moshi or direct from Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha Airport - depends on your flight schedule, followed by a scenic 2 to 2.5-hour drive to the sanctuary. As you venture away from the bustle of town, the atmospheric shift fills you with anticipation.

Upon arrival, the team at Serval Wildlife will welcome you warmly and share their inspiring mission—rescuing, rehabilitating, and preserving endangered species. You’ll gain insight into ongoing conservation efforts and learn about the animals you’re about to meet, setting the stage for meaningful encounters.

One of the richest moments of the day is interacting with the animals themselves— getting close then Petting and feeding zebras, elands, colobus monkeys, serval cats, ostriches, impalas, dik-diks, bushbucks, and enjoying a special experience with lions where guests can both pet and take photos with them in a controlled and professionally supervised environment. These interactions are handled with utmost care and respect for animal welfare, creating powerful memories you’ll carry long after you leave.

You’ll also explore the sanctuary on foot during a guided nature walk, spotting unique flora, watching birds, and observing smaller wildlife that often go unnoticed. These quieter moments offer reflection and connection with nature’s subtleties.

After these immersive highlights, get out to enjoy a picnic lunch in a beautiful natural setting, where you may witness Maasai in their daily activities nearby and sometimes spot animals such as giraffes grazing in the distance. This authentic atmosphere adds a cultural touch to your wildlife experience.

Return to Arusha or Moshi in the afternoon or drop off direct to Kilimanjaro International Airport / Arusha Airport, feeling enriched by the day’s experiences and the beauty of the Tanzanian wild.
