Your journey begins outside the city's 16th-century walls by the majestic Triton Fountain. After crossing the bridge into the fortress city, we head straight to Hastings Gardens. Perched high upon the western fortifications, this tranquil oasis offers panoramic views of the massive bastions.

Next, you will experience a striking intersection of past and present. We will view the sleek, contemporary New Parliament building standing respectfully beside the WWII-scarred columns of the ruined Royal Opera House.

We then cross the peninsula to the Upper Barrakka Gardens. Originally a private retreat for the Knights, its historic terraced arches frame arguably the most spectacular views in the Mediterranean, looking out over the Saluting Battery and the monumental Grand Harbour.

Navigating the elegant, grid-formed streets, we pause outside the Auberge d'Italie to admire its ornate Baroque facade before arriving at the imposing exterior of St. John’s Co-Cathedral. Designed by a military engineer, its austere facade is a fascinating study in architectural deception—built to project impenetrable strength from the outside.

Our narrative then moves to Malta's British colonial era in the vibrant, cafe-lined Republic Square, where the intricately sculpted 19th-century marble monument of Queen Victoria holds court.

We conclude in the heart of the city at St. George’s Square, standing in the shadow of the sprawling Grand Master's Palace.
