Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley via Ait Ben Haddou
Drive Time: ~6 hours total
Stops: Tizi n'Tichka Pass (3.5h drive from Marrakech), Ait Ben Haddou (1.5h drive from Pass), Dades Gorge (2h drive from Kasbah).

Pickup from your Marrakech hotel or accessible meeting point. Drive over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) in the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for panoramic photos. Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou for a tour and lunch break. In the afternoon, drive through the Valley of Roses into Dades Valley, arriving at your hotel by sunset for dinner.

Day 2: Dades Gorge to Merzouga Desert Camp
Drive Time: ~4 hours total

Stops: Todra Gorges (1h 15m drive from Dades), Rissani (2h 15m drive from Todra), Merzouga (25m drive from Rissani).

Highlight: A scenic 15-to-20-minute sunset camel ride.

After breakfast, take a morning walk through the towering 300-meter cliffs of Todra Gorges. Drive along the "Road of 1,000 Kasbahs" to the historic caravan town of Rissani for a local market tour and lunch. Arrive in Merzouga, leave main luggage securely in the vehicle, and take a 15-to-20-minute camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset. Spend the night at a traditional desert camp with dinner and live Berber drum music around the campfire.

Day 3: Saharan Culture & Dune-Side Hotel

Witness a desert sunrise before breakfast. Visit El Khamlia village to experience a live performance of traditional spiritual Gnawa music. Explore a green desert oasis and visit the vibrant markets of Rissani to taste the local specialty, "Medfouna" (stuffed Berber pizza). Day 4: Merzouga Desert to Fes via Cedar Forest

Stops: Ziz Oasis (2h drive from Merzouga), Midelt (1.5h drive from Ziz), Azrou Forest (1h 45m drive from Midelt), Fes (1h 45m drive from Azrou).

Drive north along the palm-filled Ziz Valley oasis. Reach the mountain town of Midelt for a lunch break. Climb through the Middle Atlas Mountains into the cedar forests of Azrou to spot wild Barbary macaque monkeys. Pass alpine Ifrane and arrive in Fes between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
