Opis

This half-day canyoning trip has a little bit of everything packed into one action-filled experience. Abseil, zip line, slide, plunge, and splash your way through the canyon.
You can pack a lot of action and a huge amount of fun into half a day within the Queenstown canyon. Suitable for first-timers and adventure seekers alike, this 4-hour adventure is a great option for groups and team building.

Check in is a strict 15 minutes prior to departure from the Adventure Centre in Queenstown where you’ll meet the guides in the departure lounge. Here, guides share pre-trip safety information and check your suitability for the trip. Please advise of any medical, health or other safety-related information before the trip departs (note we have a strict 120kg weight limit). Then, it’s a 15-minute drive to the base to be fitted with canyoning gear.

Descend through a beautiful, ancient beech forest to the start of the canyon and explore the area by zip line, abseiling (rappelling) waterfalls, slides, plunging into natural pools, floating down narrow passageways, and cascading down chutes – all in beautiful natural surroundings. 

After the tour, it’s a short drive back to the base - using our changing rooms and hot showers, have a complimentary tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.

• No previous canyoning experience is required. However, you must be confident moving through water and have a reasonable level of fitness.

• The maximum weight limit is 120 kg.

• The minimum age is 12 years. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

• Please tell the Canyon Explorers team about any medical conditions, injuries, health concerns or other information that could affect your ability to safely take part.

• Canyoning is an active experience, so we recommend eating a good meal before departure.
Meet your Canyon Explorers guides at the Canyon Explorers base, located at 37 Camp Street, Queenstown 9300. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow time for check-in and preparation. Late arrivals may miss the tour.
