Discover the history and landscapes of the Andes on a 2-day combo tour from Huaraz. Explore the archaeological complex of Chavín de Huántar and visit Pastoruri Glacier and the Puya Raimondi.
Discover two of Huaraz's most iconic experiences on a 2-day combo that combines archaeology, Andean culture, and high-mountain landscapes. Explore the ancient Chavín de Huántar complex and enjoy a tour through the stunning landscapes of Huascarán National Park to Pastoruri Glacier.

Day 1 – Chavín de Huántar: Start the tour by visiting Querococha Lake and the Kawish Tunnel before arriving at the Archaeological Landmark of Chavín de Huántar, located at about 3,180 meters above sea level. Explore its plazas, ceremonial structures, and underground galleries, and see some of its most important stone artifacts, such as the Oblique Head, the Chavín Obelisk, and the Stone of the Seven Holes. Complete your experience with a visit to the National Museum of Chavín before returning to Huaraz.

Day 2 – Pastoruri Glacier: Drive through the Callejón de Huaylas and discover various natural attractions in the region. Visit Patococha Lagoon, see the Andean duck, and discover the water springs of Pumapampa and Pumashimi, famous for their natural features. Continue to the Puya Raimondi stands and see rock art paintings before arriving at Mount Pastoruri. Take an approximately one-hour hike and explore the Climate Change Route.

This combo is an option to discover the diversity of Huaraz in two days, combining the legacy of an ancient Andean civilization with the landscapes, flora, and natural attractions of the Cordillera Blanca.
