2 or 3-day trek through the Colca Valley

On this 2 or 3-day trekking route through the Colca Valley we will take you to discover traditional towns and Peruvian culture alongside the locals. Without a doubt, a most enriching experience.
Day 1: Arequipa – Cruz del Cóndor – Sangalle Oasis
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa at 3:00 am and head to Chivay, where we will enjoy a complete breakfast before continuing on the way to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint. From there, we can contemplate the depth of the Colca Canyon before continuing to Pampa San Miguel to begin a trekking route.
Viewpoints, waterfalls, hanging bridges and impressive views await us as we descend the gorge. We will take a break to regain strength with a typical lunch at the home of a family from San Juan de Chuccho. With our batteries charged, we will continue the tour until we reach the oasis of Sangalle, where we will enjoy a swim in its pools and an afternoon of bonfires. We will spend the night here.
Day 2: Cabanaconde – Chivay – Arequipa
We will begin at 5:00 a.m. the route to Cabanaconde, where as soon as we arrive we will replenish energy with a traditional breakfast. After this we will head towards Chivay, passing through the natural viewpoint of Antahuilque and the town of Maca.

Around 11:30 a.m. we will arrive in Yanque, and we will spend a pleasant time in its thermal baths. We will have lunch in Chivay and then we will go to the Andes viewpoint, a perfect place to admire the panoramic views of the Hualca Hualca, Sabanaya and Ampato volcanoes.
After a last stop in Pampas Cañahuas to greet the vicuñas that live there, we will return to Arequipa. Arrival is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
3-day trekking route
When making the reservation, you will have the possibility of selecting the 3-day trekking route through the Colca Canyon. In this case, you will have one more day to explore the Colca Valley. In addition to the previously mentioned places, we will visit Cosñirhua and Malata, we will see the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca and you will be able to take a fishing tour in the Colca River.
Accommodation
The 2 or 3-day trekking route through the Colca Valley includes 1 or 2 nights of accommodation in a single or double room:
2-day route: Sangalle Oasis.
3-day route: the first night you will stay in the San Juan de Chuccho bungalows, and the second night at the Sangalle Oasis.
