Sri Lanka Itinerary 4 days as follows:

Day 1 – Airport → Colombo → Bentota
Your Sri Lanka 4-day tour normally begins with pickup at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). After meeting your English-speaking driver-guide, travel toward Colombo. If your flight arrives early enough, enjoy a short Colombo sightseeing experience with stops at Pettah Market, Colombo Fort, Galle Face Green and Independence Square, before continuing to Bentota.

Important: The overnight stay is in Bentota. If your flight arrives late, or you prefer to rest after your flight, the Colombo sightseeing and other Day 1 activities will be skipped and you will travel directly to Bentota. The schedule is adjusted according to your actual arrival time, comfort and preferences. If time permits, visit a local cinnamon garden and learn about cultivation, harvesting and traditional cinnamon preparation, with a Ceylon cinnamon tea tasting. An optional Bentota river and mangrove boat experience can be arranged also

Day 2 – Bentota → Ratnapura → Bopath Ella → Haputale → Ella
Visit a working rubber plantation and learn about traditional rubber tapping and latex collection. Continue toward Ratnapura, Sri Lanka’s renowned gem-producing region. Optional gem-mining or related gem experiences can be arranged at additional cost. Visit Bopath Ella Waterfall, then continue through scenic mountain landscapes toward Haputale and Ella. An optional tea-plucking experience may be available depending on location, time and operating conditions. Overnight in Ella.

Day 3 – Ella → Nuwara Eliya → Kandy
Travel through spectacular tea-country scenery. An optional Ella–Nanu Oya scenic train journey can be arranged, subject to railway schedules and ticket availability. If the train is unavailable or disrupted, continue by private vehicle. Explore Nuwara Eliya and its highland landscapes, with optional tea estate or factory visits and scenic stops depending on available time. Continue to Kandy. Optional visits to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and a Kandyan cultural performance can be added at additional cost. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 4 – Kandy → Airport
Enjoy a flexible morning based on your departure flight time. Visit a local Kandy market or enjoy short sightseeing if time permits. An optional spice and herbal garden visit can be added on the way to the airport, subject to available time. Continue to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.

Important information for your Sri Lanka 4 Day Tour: Colombo is not the standard starting point. Pickup from Colombo is available for guests who are already staying in Colombo before the tour begins.
