From Arusha: 3-Day Private Safari with Meals & Lodging

Embark on a 3-day private safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Enjoy game drives, meals, and overnight stays in a lodge or tented camp.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Travel to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful wildlife area known for its ancient baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and large elephant populations.

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, and many bird species. During the dry season, animals often gather near the Tarangire River, creating excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your safari. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge or tented camp near Karatu or Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After an early breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater.

The crater is one of Tanzania’s most famous wildlife destinations and supports a high concentration of animals throughout the year. During your game drive, look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, and many bird species.

You may also have an opportunity to see the endangered black rhinoceros, although wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated area inside the crater, usually near the hippo pool, before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park and Return to Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for your final safari experience.

Explore the park’s diverse landscapes, including groundwater forest, acacia woodland, open grasslands, marshes, and the lakeshore. The park is home to elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, baboons, blue monkeys, antelopes, and a wide variety of birdlife.

Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are rare and cannot be guaranteed. Depending on the season and lake conditions, you may also see flamingos and other waterbirds.

After the game drive and lunch, begin the return journey to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or another agreed location in the city.
