Day 1: Addis Ababa – Semera – Erta Ale

Take a morning flight from Addis Ababa to Semera. Upon arrival, meet your guide and begin the drive through the spectacular landscapes of the Afar Depression. Pass local villages, volcanic fields, and desert scenery before reaching the base of Erta Ale. In the late afternoon, start the trek to the summit of the volcano. Day 2: Erta Ale – Hamed Ela

Day 4: Hamed Ela – Semera – Addis Ababa

After breakfast, drive back to Semera through the remarkable landscapes of the Afar Region. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa, bringing your unforgettable Danakil and Erta Ale adventure to an end.
