Uyuni Salt Flat Excursion: Full Day with Stargazing

A unique adventure in the Uyuni Salt Flat, with a bike ride and stargazing. Enjoy surreal landscapes, take spectacular photos, and experience a day full of magic.
This is a group excursion to the Uyuni Salt Flats, which includes a fascinating bicycle ride where you will explore this vast white landscape. Throughout the tour, you will have an experienced Spanish- or English-speaking driver/guide who will take you safely through the highlands, provide information about the local culture, and help you get the best photos.

The activity starts at 10:30 AM with pickup from your accommodation, bus terminal, or airport in Uyuni. Then you will visit the Train Cemetery, a historic site where old locomotives are located.

Later, you will arrive at Colchani, the gateway to the salt flat, where you will learn about the artisanal work with salt and local products.

Afterwards, you'll enter the Salar to explore extraction areas and the former Hotel de Sal Playa Blanca, now a museum. Before continuing, you'll enjoy a delicious local lunch.

You will also visit Incahuasi Island, known for its huge cacti and panoramic views. Admission to the signposted trail is available for an optional additional fee of approximately 5 USD. (Note: Access to Incahuasi Island is restricted during the rainy season, January to March, due to the high accumulation of water. If there is a change in the itinerary, we will inform you in advance, so that if you wish to cancel your booking, you can do so and receive a 100% guaranteed refund)

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a stunning sunset in the middle of the Salar, accompanied by a red wine and snack tasting. In addition, if conditions permit, you'll be able to appreciate the famous mirror effect, where the surface reflects the sky, creating an out-of-this-world landscape that's ideal for unique photographs.

The experience is complemented by stargazing in the Salar de Uyuni, where you will contemplate the dazzling night sky in the middle of the salt flat.

To end the experience, you'll head back to Uyuni. At approximately 8:00 PM.
