Ancestral weaving experience and assurance mochila traditional bag
1. We start in Plaza de Bolívar greeting to the sun, the hills, and the territory, connecting with its ancestral energy through singing and dancing. Telling the history of the place, from what was there before the spanish invaders came to conquer this territory to the modern-day activities that are aimed at reconstituting the Muisca (Indigenous ethnicity that used to live in this territory and currently are in the process of restoring their culture) legacy and culture in the city.
2. An oasis in the middle of the city where tranquility and nature intertwine with architecture, revealing hidden secrets of the territory. You will have the chance to taste some of the products offered at Apotecarios del Condor.
3. We will discover the wisdom of Kankuamo ethnic weaving, learning about the depth of this ancestral work, connecting with indigenous tradition and its cultural heritage. Each person will receive a "Mochila de Aseguranza" (Protection Bag) weaved by the women of the community.
4. We continue to Chorro de Quevedo, the place of Bogotá's foundation and residence of the Zipa, the Muisca ruler of this territory. This journey shows us the transition from the ancestral to the colonial era, observing how the current cultural center has flourished in this historic site.
