From there, head to the vibrant Bazurto Market, the soul of Cartagena’s gastronomy. As you stroll through its colorful, bustling aisles, discover an amazing variety of local and exotic ingredients.

Meet the vendors, who will share the stories behind their products. Taste fresh fruits such as soursop, lulo, and mamey, as well as try typical snacks, from stuffed arepas to fried empanadas. Learn to select the best ingredients and perfect the art of haggling like a true Cartagena native, enjoying the famous “ñapa,” that little extra sample that vendors always offer.

After the tour, return to the cooking studio, where the cooking demonstration will begin. Under the expert guidance of the chef, learn key techniques of Colombian cuisine and be guided step by step in the preparation of traditional dishes.

Together with the other participants, cook as a team, following the chef’s instructions and receiving personalized advice. The experience will be relaxed and collaborative, allowing you to learn and experiment as you create your own versions of the dishes.

* Sea bass ceviche with plantain and lemongrass emulsion

4) Red Snapper in Coconut Sauce >> Available: Saturday 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
