Discover the castles around Lake Max-Eyth with the Münstermer monk or nun. At dusk, you will stop at the inn for mulled wine, monastery schnapps, and Nonnenfürzle.
Get to know one of the most charming areas of Stuttgart. Around Lake Max-Eyth are four castle ruins that take you back to times long past. Enjoy magnificent views of the Neckar River and hike with the Münstermer monk or nun along vineyards that are among the best and steepest on the Neckar. To start with, you will be served a cup of mulled wine or non-alcoholic punch, and along the way, the monk or nun will occasionally offer you one of their monastery brandies on the 8 km circular hike, peppered with anecdotes from times long past. For refreshment, you will be served a Swabian lard pastry, known as a Nonnenfürzle. At dusk, you will be guided by lanterns to an inn where you can stop for a drink at your leisure.
