Galapagos Island Hopping Tour - 9D/8N

Discover the unique flora and fauna of the Galapagos Islands on a 9-day island hopping tour. Visit the most important inhabited islands and take day trips to other uninhabited islands.
Day 1 - San Cristobal. You will fly to the Galapagos Islands to San Cristobal. Here you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Visit the nearby Tijeretas viewing hill and the beautiful beaches of Cabo de Horno and Playa Man on the way back.

Day 2 - Highlands Tour. You go on an excursion with a guide to the highlands of the island. You will hike to "El Junco" lagoon. Afterwards, visit the giant tortoises at “La Galapaguera” breeding center before swimming with the sea lions at the small Puerto Chino beach. In the afternoon you will visit “La Lobería” beach.

Day 3 - Kicker Rock tour. Early in the morning, you'll head to your meeting point. Snorkel and immerse yourself in the fantastic underwater world. Kicker Rock is considered how one of the best diving and snorkeling spots, as you can not only see lots of colourful fish here, but also turtles, giant rays and hammerhead sharks.

Day 4 - Navigation to Santa Cruz – Primicias Farm. Early in the morning, you will be taken to the dock and travel by speedboat to Santa Cruz, where you will be met. You will then head into the highlands to the Primicias tortoises farm. In the afternoon, take a short hike on your own to Tortuga Bay beach.

Day 5 - Bay Tour/Navigation to Isabela. You will take part in a tour through the bay of Puerto Ayora, on which you will get to know the beaches “Playa de los Alemanes”, “Playa de Perros” and the rocky gorge “Las Grietas”. In the afternoon, you will be picked up at the hotel and taken to the dock. At 3:00 pm, you will take the speedboat to Isabela. You will be met at the dock of Puerto Villamil and taken to your hotel.

Day 6 - Sulfur Mines. You will be driven to the edge of the crater where you will begin a hike into the volcanic crater. After 2.5 km you will reach the most active area of the crater, where it usually smells like rotten eggs. On the way back, you will visit an organic farm.

Day 7-Snorkeling tour in “Los Tuneles”. Today you will take a boat tour along the coast to Cabo Rosa. You will take a short walk on land and can see Galápagos penguins and blue-footed boobies. Afterwards, you will snorkel at a selected spot where turtles, white-tip sharks and seahorses can be seen.

Day 8 - Tintoreras islet – Navigation to Santa Cruz. On the tour you will see many land and sea iguanas, blue-footed boobies and usually a few penguins. You will be back in the village around midday. In the afternoon, you will be picked up at the hotel and taken to the dock, as your speedboat departs back to Santa Cruz. You will be met at the dock of Puerto Ayora and taken to your hotel.

Day 9 - Departure. An unforgettable dream trip comes to an end. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the Itabaca Channel. Here, on your own, you will take the ferry to the other side of the Itabaca Channel, and from here you will take the bus to the Baltra airport. Your return flight will take you to Quito or Guayaquil.
