Begin your adventure at the main pier, where you’ll board a boat to explore some of the most iconic spots in Santa Cruz Bay.
First, visit La Lobería, a small rocky island home to a colony of sea lions. Watch them resting on the rocks or swimming in their natural habitat.
Next, head to Punta Estrada, a tranquil bay perfect for snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. Swim alongside playful sea lions, sea turtles, and reef fish. Observe the famous Shark Channel, home to small, harmless sharks resting in rocky crevices.
Continue to the Canal del Amor, a narrow, picturesque passage between rock formations, ideal for photos and enjoying the scenery. Then, walk to Playa de los Perros, a beach surrounded by mangroves and home to marine iguanas resting on volcanic rocks.
After the boat tour, embark on a scenic walk past ancient salt mines. Finally, reach Las Grietas, an impressive formation of three natural brackish water pools between lava walls, perfect for swimming and snorkeling in calm waters, where you can also observe fish in their natural habitat.
At the end of the tour, return by boat to the pier.
