Experience the magical beauty of Lapland’s taiga forests with the thrill of driving your own husky sled. Enjoy the sound of silence as you mush your own dog-team through the remote trails just north of Rovaniemi and the Arctic Circle. 
You’ll be picked up from a collective meeting point in or around Rovaniemi and you will be taken to the kennel. There, you will meet the huskies and get a lesson on how to drive your own sled from your guide, including steering techniques and safety rules. 
Once you’re ready, your tour will begin as you leave the kennel and enter the snowy landscape of the Arctic Circle. Feel the rush of driving your own dog sled, and immerse yourself in the magical beauty of wintery fields and the snowcapped taiga forest. 
Journey through 30-40km of snowy forest and frozen lakes, and discover the often-unexplored landscapes of Lapland. Half way, there will be a break where you gather around the fire, enjoy a delicious lunch and a warm drink while our guide will tell you more about the world of mushing.
Continue your journey on the sled, eventually arriving back at the kennel. You will have some time to pet the dogs that pulled your sled and thank them for their hard work. After the tour, you’ll be taken back to your hotel in town.
