4-Day Private Tour of Alsace and the Black Forest

Discover two of the most charming regions in Central Europe on a private 4-day/3-night tour from Strasbourg.
Day 1 – Strasbourg – Obernai – Riquewihr – Colmar
We'll start by touring Strasbourg, with its Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Grande Île, and the picturesque Petite France neighborhood. We'll then head onto the Alsace Wine Route to visit Obernai and Riquewihr, two towns with a strong medieval and wine-growing character. In the afternoon, we'll arrive in Colmar to explore its historic center, Petite Venise, and some of its traditional houses. Overnight in Colmar.

Day 2 – Colmar – Eguisheim – Freiburg – Titisee
After breakfast, we'll visit Eguisheim, one of the most photogenic villages in Alsace. We'll then cross over into Germany to explore Freiburg, visiting its cathedral, the market square, and the streets crisscrossed by the traditional Bächle. In the afternoon, we'll continue to Lake Titisee to stroll along its shores and enjoy the landscapes of the Black Forest. Overnight in Freiburg or Titisee.

Day 3 – Titisee – Triberg – Gengenbach
The day will be dedicated to the most iconic landscapes of the Black Forest. We'll visit Triberg and its famous waterfalls, as well as learning about the regional tradition of cuckoo clocks. We'll then head to Gengenbach, where we'll stroll through its beautiful historic center with half-timbered houses, squares, and narrow streets. Overnight in Gengenbach or nearby.

Day 4 – Gengenbach – Baumwipfelpfad – Baden-Baden – Strasbourg
We'll head north in the Black Forest to walk along the Baumwipfelpfad Schwarzwald, an elevated trail through the treetops that ends at a large observation tower. We'll then continue to Baden-Baden to discover its elegant city center, the Kurhaus and the Lichtentaler Allee. In the afternoon, we'll head back to Strasbourg. Trip ends.
