Experience one of the most beautiful stages of the famous Harz Witches' Trail and discover the unique nature of the Harz National Park together with our host and certified mountain hiking guide Andreas. This guided full-day tour combines impressive landscapes, historic hydraulic structures, and relaxed hiking on one of the most famous long-distance hiking trails in Germany.

The hotel team will first take you comfortably to the starting point at the Rehberger Grabenhaus near Altenau. From there, the hike leads along the historic Dammgraben – part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Harz Water Management System. The almost flat path runs through dense forests and offers wonderful views of the unspoiled nature of the Harz Mountains again and again.

Along the way, you will learn interesting facts about the history of mining in the Harz, the impressive water management system, and the special features of the Harz National Park. Hiking together in a small group makes this tour a special nature experience.

The destination of the hike is Torfhaus, one of the most famous hiking locations in the Harz. The stage ends there, and you will be comfortably brought back by the hotel team.
