Begin your adventure with a convenient morning pickup from your hotel in Rethymno or the surrounding area. Your first stop is Damnoni Beach, where you'll board a boat for a scenic 20-minute cruise across the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea. Enjoy beautiful views of Crete's rugged coastline before arriving at the spectacular Preveli Palm Beach, one of the island's most famous natural landmarks.
Located where the Kourtaliotis River meets the Libyan Sea, Preveli is home to a unique forest of native Cretan date palms, creating a tropical landscape unlike anywhere else in Greece. Here you'll have approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of free time to enjoy this extraordinary setting at your own pace. Swim in the turquoise sea, relax on the beach, explore the famous palm forest, or follow the river inland through the shaded oasis. The combination of lush greenery, dramatic cliffs, and crystal-clear water makes Preveli one of Crete's most photographed destinations.
After your visit, board the boat for the return journey to Damnoni Beach, where you'll enjoy approximately 1 hour of free time. Take the opportunity to have lunch at one of the beachfront tavernas, enjoy fresh local cuisine, or simply relax beside the sea before continuing your adventure.
The day continues with a visit to the impressive Kourtaliotiko Waterfalls, hidden within one of Crete's most spectacular gorges. Surrounded by towering cliffs and lush vegetation, this natural paradise offers a completely different side of the island's beauty.
You'll have approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore the area. Walk down to the waterfalls, admire the crystal-clear spring water flowing through the gorge, capture incredible photographs, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool natural pools beneath the falls. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery make this one of the most rewarding stops of the day.

The tour involves walking and boat travel, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Tour schedule can be affected by weather conditions such as strong winds. In these events, we find out about it the day of the tour since weather can be unpredictable. The tour will either be fully canceled and all tickets will be refunded.
If only part of the tour is rerouted (e.g. the boat cannot disembark for preveli OR the gorge closes for safety reasons) we will reshape the itinerary on the go.
Bring swimwear and a towel if you plan to swim.
Sunscreen and a hat are recommended due to sun exposure.
Lunch is not included, so plan accordingly however there are options for food in some of the locations.
