Discover the Arena, the first and the second level of the Colosseum with your guided tour. Imagine being first a fighter against wild beasts, then a spectator of this incredible and bloody spectacle.
First you will meet your guide at the meeting point where you will learn more about the social and historical elements that characterize the Colosseum.
You'll follow your group through a special section that provides access to the Arena where the famous gladiator battles took place. You will continue with a visit to the first level of the amphitheater where you will be able to observe the strict distribution of seats and thus you will realize how severe the ancient Roman civilization was.
The second part of the guided tour will take place on the second level, where you will enjoy one of the best views of the structure.
During the visit you will have the opportunity to learn which wild animals were engaged in the battles and you will experience the feeling of unity of the crowd that was in the stands.
At the end of the guided tour you will have the opportunity to remain on the site to take photos.
After the tour we will provide you the tickets to enter inside the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill.

Persons under the age of 18 can purchase/participate in the tour only if accompanied by a parent or accompanying adult.
You must pass a metal detector security check for the Colosseum. When the venue is busy, there may be a waiting period as you go through security.
In front of the Colosseum metro station (lower floor of the station/ground floor, at the street level), near the green kiosk. Look for the staff with the C.I.S. Tours sign
