In the museum you can learn about the Danish way of life as well as the African way of life as depicted by Karen Blixen. Visit a coffee farm, the museum has old machinery and tools used to grow coffee farms. The museum also houses artifacts used in the movie "Out of Africa." Giraffe Center You will then be taken to the Giraffe Center, where you will learn more about dialogue efforts to protect endangered species. The main purpose of the center is to protect and aid the reproduction of the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Under professional supervision, you can feed the giraffes from an elevated viewing platform. These platforms allow visitors to come face to face with giraffes. The center also houses a large auditorium where visitors can listen to presentations on giraffe conservation and the various activities in which the center is involved. Kobe Bead Factory Next stop is a visit to the Kobe Bead Factory. This is a pottery company that produces some of the most beautiful beads in the world. You will see all stages from start to finish. It is also a unique factory in that it employs single mothers from poor communities who earn a living to support their families. This pottery, porcelain and bead factory employs all single mothers to create beautiful gifts and souvenirs - now exported around the world. There is a gift shop selling some merchandise. Please note that the workshop is closed on Saturday afternoon and all day on Sunday, but the gift shop is open 7 days a week. Kenyatta International Conference Center Admire the skyline and enjoy Nairobi's breeze from the rooftop of the Kenyatta International Conference Center, where the deck also offers the opportunity to take stunning photos of the city from a bird's-eye perspective.
