Continue upward to the hilltop of Sveti Ilija at 765 meters above sea level, where a truly unforgettable panorama opens up. From this vantage point, the views stretch endlessly across the bay, mountains, and coastline.
Descend from the heights and head to the remarkable Fort Gorazda, the largest and most well-preserved fortress built by the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the 19th century. There is an 5 minute walk [about 200 meters] from the place we leave the vehicles at to the top of Sveti Ilija peak. The road is wide and straight perfectly safe for walking.
