Step into the tranquil world of Canglang Pavilion, one of Suzhou’s historic classical gardens and an important part of the UNESCO-listed Classical Gardens of Suzhou.

Located in the heart of Suzhou, Canglang Pavilion is known for its elegant combination of natural scenery, traditional architecture, rockeries, bamboo, and water. Unlike larger and busier gardens, it offers a peaceful atmosphere where you can take your time exploring the winding paths and beautifully designed spaces.

One of the garden’s most distinctive features is its double-sided corridor, decorated with 108 uniquely designed lattice windows. These delicate windows create changing views between the garden and the surrounding landscape, demonstrating the sophisticated aesthetics of traditional Chinese garden design.
