5-Day Namibia Desert & Etosha National Park Adventure
Day 1: Windhoek – Namib Desert
You'll be picked up from your hotel between 7:00 and 8:00 AM, with departure at 8:30 AM. Travel south via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass, stopping at a viewpoint for panoramic views of the Namib Desert. Enjoy lunch at Solitaire Oasis before arriving at your campsite or lodge around 3–4 PM. The afternoon heat is intense—relax by the pool and rest early for the exciting day ahead.

Day 2: Dune 45 – Sossusvlei – Dead Vlei – Sesriem Canyon
Rise early for a sunrise entry through Sesriem Gate. First stop: Dune 45, perfect for sunrise photos and short hikes. Continue with a 4x4 drive to Dead Vlei, known for its ancient, petrified camelthorn trees set in a white clay pan. Optional climb: Big Daddy or Big Mama, some of the tallest dunes on Earth. After lunch in Sesriem and a short break, explore Sesriem Canyon, carved by water over millennia.

Day 3: Namib Desert – Swakopmund
Travel from desert to sea. Cross the Tropic of Capricorn, and navigate through the Gaub and Kuiseb Passes, passing through dramatic desert landscapes. Stop in Walvis Bay to admire flamingos and other birdlife in the lagoon. After a short lunch break, continue to Swakopmund, a charming coastal town with German colonial flair. Dinner is at your own expense.

Day 4: Swakopmund – Etosha National Park
Pick-up between 8:00 and 8:30 AM for a full-day drive to Etosha. Stop in Usakos for fuel and provisions, and enjoy a picnic lunch in Outjo. Arrive at Okaukuejo Camp in the afternoon and begin your first game drive inside Etosha National Park, spotting wildlife en route. Reach the campsite just before sunset and enjoy dinner.

Day 5: Etosha – Windhoek
Start with an early morning game drive to spot elephants, lions, rhinos, and more. After breakfast, depart Etosha and head back to Windhoek. En route, stop in Okahandja, home to Namibia’s largest wood carving market, where you can browse handmade crafts and souvenirs. Arrival in Windhoek is expected in the late afternoon, concluding your unforgettable journey.
