Your journey begins on Day 1 with an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,840 m), a thrilling 35-minute ride that offers breathtaking mountain views. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your guide and porter before starting an easy trek through forests and Sherpa villages along the Dudh Koshi River. After a gentle descent, you’ll arrive in Phakding (2,610 m) for your first overnight stay in a cozy tea house.

On Day 2, the trail takes you across iconic suspension bridges and into the heart of Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you ascend through pine forests, you’ll catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest in the distance. After a steady climb, you’ll reach Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) — the vibrant Sherpa capital filled with shops, cafes, and mountain charm, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3 begins with a scenic hike to the famous Everest View Hotel (3,880 m), one of the best vantage points for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan giants. After soaking in the scenery, you’ll return to Namche for the afternoon, with time to explore Sherpa culture, visit local museums, or wander nearby villages. Another overnight stay in Namche lets you truly experience this lively mountain town.

On Day 4, you’ll retrace your steps down the trail, passing through Monjo and Phakding while enjoying the landscapes from a different perspective. The trek ends in Lukla, where you can relax and celebrate the completion of your short yet unforgettable Everest adventure.

Finally, on Day 5, you’ll board a morning flight back to Kathmandu, enjoying the aerial views of the Himalayas one last time. Upon landing, you’ll transfer to your hotel, where the rest of the day is free to unwind or explore the capital city. With that, your 5-day Everest View Trek comes to an end — leaving you with lifelong memories of the mountains.
