Day 1: Pokhara to Sirubari Village

Begin your journey with a drive from Pokhara to Arjunchaupari. From there, embark on a light trek to Sirubari village, which takes about 4 hours. The trek is suitable for all ages, offering a gentle ascent to this beautiful Gurung settlement.

Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome from your host family. Settle into your traditional Gurung home and enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal. Spend the evening getting to know your hosts and experiencing the local way of life.

Day 2: Explore Sirubari Village

Spend the day exploring Sirubari village. Walk with your host family as they go about their daily chores, tending animals, tilling the fields, and going to school with the children. Feel free to wander safely by yourself and look at all of the developments that the community has supported and funded, such as the primary health center, agricultural service center, and veterinary hospital.

In the evening, enjoy a cultural program performed by the local community. Experience traditional Gurung music and dance, and learn about the customs and traditions of the village.

Day 3: Hike to Dahare Hill

After breakfast, take a short hike to Dahare Hill for panoramic views of the Himalayas. At 2300 meters, this is the highest point of Pokhara, offering spectacular views of the rolling foothills and snow-capped peaks. From Manaslu in the east through Machhapuchare and the Annapurnas and around to Dhaulagiri, the Himalaya giants all line up for your camera to capture.

Return to the village for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring more of the village. In the evening, enjoy another delicious home-cooked meal with your host family.

Day 4: Sirubari to Pokhara

After breakfast, say goodbye to your host family and begin your journey back to Pokhara. Hike to Karkinetta and then drive back to Pokhara, where your tour ends.
