Begin your adventure with a drive from Pokhara to Kande, the common trailhead. From there, trek uphill along a stone-stair trail through farmland, forests, and villages. This takes around 1.5–2 hours to reach Australian Camp.

Enjoy gorgeous panoramic mountain views from Australian Camp, including majestic peaks like Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Lamjung Himal.

Catch a scenic sunrise or sunset, with light over the snow-capped mountains and green hillsides. Pass through terraced farmland, forested areas, and traditional villages, giving a glimpse of rural Nepalese lifestyle and hospitality.

At Australian Camp, find basic but decent lodging options — teahouses or guesthouses for meals and sleep. It’s not a luxury resort, but comfortable enough for trekkers.

For descent or an alternate route, continue from Australian Camp down to Dhampus village, then to Phedi, from where you can catch transport back to Pokhara.
