Explore the beauty of the Kvaenangen Fjord by Skjervoy and see orcas and/or humpback whales chasing large amounts of herring fish.
Watch magnificent humpback whales and orcas feed on shoals of herring when they migrate to Skjervoy between November and January. Enjoy a scenic panoramic drive from Tromso to Skjervoy, then hop into a rigid-inflatable boat (RIB) for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Meet at the Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromso bright and early. From here, drive for 3.5 hours to Skjervoy to meet your guide. Once in Skjervoy, receive a warm flotation suit before getting into the RIB.
Then, set off on a 2.5-hour whale watching excursion in the Kvaenangen Fjord. Marvel at the natural scenery and keep your eyes peeled for orcas and humpback whales, as well as other local wildlife. After your excursion, refresh with some sandwiches, tea, and coffee before driving back to Tromso.

The departure time is 05:30 am for whale watching tomorrow. Please meet up latest 05:20 am.
Please go directly on board the red bus from Bussring/Arctic Route which will be standing right in front of the main entrance of Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromsø.

Please take as many warm and waterproof clothes as you can (to have under our flotation suits) during the Rib-boat whale watching excursion.
Please also bring an extra set of clothes to change after the excursion in case your clothes get wet.
