Leave Tromsø in a premium Big van and chase the Aurora with an expert guide and photographer in a true small group (maximum 8). After a quick briefing and live forecast check, we head to the clearest skies—around Kvaløya, the inland valleys, or, if conditions demand, across the Finnish border. Your guide adjusts the route in real time to maximize your chances and avoid the bus crowds.
On location, we set up a cozy base with a campfire, hot drinks, and light snacks. Thermal suits (to approx. –20°C) keep you warm while your guide helps with camera settings and takes professional portraits of you under the lights—unlimited free photos included. If clouds move in, we move too; this is a genuine “chase,” not a static show.
Expect 7 hours door-to-door, with unhurried time for photos and stargazing. We provide tripods on request, share the science and stories of the Aurora, and choose quiet, photogenic spots for a premium experience. At the end of the night, we return to Tromsø and deliver your photos digitally.

Important Clothing Guidelines for the Photo Shoot:
Please avoid wearing white or bright-colored clothing. We use flash lighting during the photo shoot, and such colors can negatively affect the image quality.
Dress in warm layers. While we provide thermal suits, they may not be sufficient in extremely cold weather. We recommend wearing base layers and warm clothing underneath to ensure your comfort.
