Cusco: Pallay Punchu, Raqchi, and Checacupe Day Trip

Experience three top Andean attractions in a single day: the colorful Pallay Punchu Mountain, the ancient Raqchi archaeological site, and stunning scenic viewpoints.
Pickup takes place between 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. from your hotel in Cusco (within accessible streets of the Historic Center; otherwise, we will assign a nearby meeting point).

Your day starts with a direct transfer to Cusipata, where a buffet breakfast awaits to prepare you for the experience.
We then continue for 3.5 to 4 hours until reaching the starting point of the hike to Pallay Poncho.

Pallay Poncho Hike (1 hour)
Enjoy a scenic, one-hour ascent to this vibrant, multicolored mountain known for its sharp edges and unique geological formations. There will be ample time to take photos and appreciate the landscape.
Raqchi – Temple of Wiracocha (Entance fee not included, 10 soles (Peruvian) / 20 soles (foreign tourist))
After the hike, we proceed to the remarkable archaeological site of Raqchi, home to the impressive Temple of Wiracocha — one of the most important Inca structures ever built.
Checacupe – The Three Bridges
Next, visit Checacupe to observe its three adjacent bridges — Inca, Colonial, and Republican — offering a clear visual evolution of Peru’s engineering legacy.
Buffet Lunch in Cusipata (included)
Return to Cusipata to enjoy a buffet lunch.
Urcos Lagoon Viewpoint
Before concluding the tour, make a final stop at the scenic Urcos Lagoon for panoramic photos.

Return to Cusco: Around 5:00 p.m., ending at Regocijo or San Francisco Square, close to the Main Square.
