Enjoy an unforgettable experience in Huaraz with this 2-day tour that mixes nature and culture. On the first day, you'll discover the majestic Parón Lagoon, the largest in the Cordillera Blanca, with its turquoise waters fed by glaciers and surrounded by towering peaks like Artesonraju, which inspired the Paramount Pictures logo.

Enjoy unique views and a perfect setting to connect with nature. On the second day, we'll dive into the ancient history of Chavín de Huántar, exploring its iconic temple, sculptures, underground galleries, and Andean landscapes. A journey that brings together natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Day 1 - Laguna Parón:

- 6:00 a.m. – We'll leave Huaraz and head north, stopping at Jangas, Anta airport, Marcará, Carhuaz, Mancos, and Yungay.

- Arrival in Caraz: stop to enjoy a typical breakfast of the region and check out its main square.

- Arrival at Quebrada Parón. The transport will drop us off 10 minutes from the lagoon. Start a 30-minute walk to the viewpoint.

- Enjoy the Parón Lagoon with its turquoise color and spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains Pirámide de Garcilaso (5885 masl), Chacraraju (6112 masl) and Artesonraju (6025 masl). Time for photos and some quiet reflection.

- Heading back to Caraz.

- 7:00 p.m. - Arrival in Huaraz.

Day 2 - Chavín de Huantar:

1. Leaving from Huaraz (8:30 am):

We're heading out early to the south of the Callejón de Huaylas.
- Tour through the villages of Recuay, Ticapampa, and Catac.

2. Stop at Laguna Querococha:

We'll enjoy the panoramic view of the lagoon.
We'll check out the famous geological fault shaped like a map of Peru.

3. We'll pass through the Cahuish Tunnel:

We'll cross the trans-Andean tunnel at 4550 meters above sea level, one of the highest in the world.
- We'll head down to the picturesque Conchucos Valley.

4. Arrival in the village of Chavín:

- Check out the Chavín de Huántar Archaeological Complex.
- About 2-hour tour, exploring temples, underground galleries, and iconic sculptures.

5. Check out the National Museum of Chavín:

We'll check out the main remains found in the temple.
Time for photos and cultural exploration.

6. Heading back to Huaraz (7:00 pm):

- We'll head back through the valley and arrive in the city by late afternoon.
