Begin your adventure at 3:00 a.m., departing from Arequipa and heading toward the town of Chivay, where a delicious breakfast awaits.
Continue through the breathtaking Colca Valley, stopping in the picturesque village of Maca to visit its charming colonial church—an elegant example of Andean baroque architecture—and explore the local handicraft market. Then continue to the Antahuilque viewpoint, where you’ll marvel at hundreds of ancient pre-Inca agricultural terraces carved into the mountainside.
Arrive at the iconic Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where you’ll witness the awe‑inspiring flight of the majestic Andean condor as it soars above the canyon.
On your return, unwind in the nearby hot springs—perfect for relaxing and recharging—before heading back to Chivay for lunch (not included).
As you continue toward Puno, ascend to Patapampa, the highest point on the route at 4,900 meters above sea level, and enjoy sweeping views of the volcanic mountain range.
