Start your day with an early morning start in Cusco. Drive for almost 2 hours to the south of Cusco to visit the four lagoons. After enjoying a moment of tranquility near the lagoons, visit the small Pabellones volcano, located near the town of Yanaoca.
Arrive at the impressive Inca Bridge. This Inca hanging bridge is made of vegetable fiber (ichu) and is located over the Apurímac River, in the Quehue district. The existence of this bridge dates back to the Inca period. The inhabitants of the four surrounding communities renew and maintain it once a year.
Before starting the renovation of the bridge, an offering is made as a sign of respect and gratitude to the Pachamama. Have the opportunity to cross the Inca Bridge on both sides. Be careful, it looks easy but requires courage.
On the way back to Cusco, make a final stop at the colonial Inca bridge of Checacupe, where you can see the differences between the two bridges. Finally, your tour ends in the city of Cusco.
