The Ausangate 7 Lagoons Excursion and the mountain of the 7 colors or vinicunca mountain, is a trekking excursion in Cusco with a duration of 2 days. This adventure in the Ausangate mountain range with impressive landscapes and beautiful lagoons, colorful mountains, flora, fauna, landscapes, hot springs and colorful lagoons (Blue, green and turquoise).
Spend a night in a quiet place where there is no noise of the hectic cities and feel a moment of your life a tranquility for your soul.

Day 1= Mountain of 7 colors (vinicunca)

Your professional tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. After a 2-hour drive, you will arrive at Cusipata, where you will stop for breakfast and to buy water and snacks for the hike.

After breakfast, you will travel another hour to the starting point of the trek at 4,850 meters. From there, you will begin your 3.5-kilometer hike up to Rainbow Mountain on flat, uphill terrain.
During the hike, you will enjoy incredible views and encounter wild alpacas, llamas and vicuñas. Once you reach the summit at 5,010 meters, you can take advantage of some free time to take a break and, if the weather is good, you can enjoy the views of Rainbow Mountain. You will descend to the starting point for another hour. Then, you will take the transport back to Cusipata, where a local lunch will be waiting for you. Once you finish your buffet lunch, you will travel back to Urcos, where a car will be waiting for us to take us to Pacchanta, where we will have our accommodation booked by the agency and the final meal of our first day tour (arrival between 5:00 p.m.) Afternoon free for short hikes or to visit the local hot springs.

Day 2= Pacchanta - 7 Lakes - Cusco.

This day will be one of our longest treks for approximately 5 hours to visit the 7 lakes of Ausangate.
First, we will have breakfast in a local restaurant in Pacchanta to prepare for the trek.
This activity will start at 8.00 am with direction to the Ausangate mountain range.

Our hike with gradual ascent in the middle of the Andes mountain range to explore” beautiful 7 Ausangate Lakes, at the beginning we will walk about 6 km. to visit the first lake (1:30 hrs approx.), then we will continue this fascinating adventure visiting other lakes, it will be a journey of 10 km. approximately (5 hours of walking).
We will return to the community of “PACCHANTA” where we will enjoy the hot springs and our lunch, then we will return to Cusco, after this wonderful experience.
