Explore Manu National Park for 8 days, traveling through cloud forests, rivers and pristine Amazon jungle. Spot macaws, monkeys, giant otters and other wildlife while staying in remote jungle lodges.
Day 1: Cusco – Ninamarca – Paucartambo – Cloud Forest – Pilcopata
Travel from Cusco through the Andes to the Ninamarca Chullpas, then continue to Paucartambo and cross Acjanaco Pass. Descend into the Manu cloud forest for birdwatching and opportunities to see orchids, ferns and the Andean cock-of-the-rock. Continue to Pilcopata and your jungle lodge.
Day 2: Pilcopata – Atalaya – Boca Manu
Travel to Puerto Atalaya and board a boat along the Madre de Dios River. Look for birds, monkeys and capybaras along the riverbanks. Depending on conditions, enjoy natural hot springs, visit a hummingbird garden and take a guided jungle walk before reaching Boca Manu.
Day 3: Boca Manu – Manu Reserved Zone – Casa Matsiguenka
Visit a parrot clay lick before entering the Manu Reserved Zone. Navigate the Manu River while looking for caimans, turtles, monkeys, capybaras and birds. With luck, you may spot a jaguar. Explore Cocha Otorongo and its observation tower, with opportunities to see giant otters. Optional night walk available.
Day 4: Casa Matsiguenka – Cocha Salvador
Explore Cocha Salvador, Manu's largest lagoon, looking for giant otters, black caimans, monkeys, hoatzins and other wildlife. After lunch, enjoy a guided rainforest hike. Optional night walk available to look for frogs, insects and reptiles.
Day 5: Salvadorcillo – Pakitza
Visit the Salvadorcillo macaw clay lick, where macaws and parrots may gather. Continue by boat toward Pakitza and explore the rainforest while looking for caimans, monkeys, turtles and birds. Optional night exploration available.
Day 6: Manu Reserved Zone – Cocha Otorongo – Pona Lodge
Explore the rainforest around the lodge and look for tamarin monkeys and other wildlife. Visit Cocha Otorongo and its observation tower. Later, travel down the Manu River toward Pona Lodge, watching for caimans, birds and, with luck, jaguars.
Day 7: Pona Lodge – Hot Springs – Atalaya – Bamboo Lodge
Enjoy a morning jungle walk before traveling toward Puerto Atalaya. Stop at natural hot springs near the Alto Madre de Dios River, then continue by vehicle to Bamboo Lodge.
Day 8: Bamboo Lodge – Cloud Forest – Cusco
Begin the return journey through the rainforest and cloud forest toward Cusco. Enjoy the changing landscapes from Amazon rainforest to Andes and arrive in Cusco approximately between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

The tour takes place in a remote area of the Amazon, with long journeys by road and boat, jungle walks, and limited or no mobile phone or internet coverage in some areas.
Accommodation is in jungle lodges integrated into the natural environment and offering basic facilities.
Bring your original passport or a valid identity document throughout the activity.
After booking, provide the name and address of your hotel in Cusco so we can properly coordinate your pickup.
Bring lightweight long-sleeved clothing, long pants, comfortable or hiking shoes, insect repellent, sunscreen, a hat, rainwear, and a reusable water bottle.
Wildlife and bird sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed.
Breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last day are not included.
