Get to know Lake Titicaca up close: 2 days and 1 night among islands and communities

Get up close to the highest navigable lake in the world and be amazed by the breathtaking landscapes, islands, and communities that make Titicaca a unique destination.
We'll visit the fascinating floating islands of the Uros, a community of Aymara origin located in the middle of the immense Lake Titicaca. Here we'll discover how these unique islands are built and preserved with totora, while enjoying a breathtaking landscape where culture and traditions come to life through their colorful embroidery.

We'll then continue our adventure to Amantani Island, home to a Quechua community that maintains a rotating work system so that the benefits of tourism reach the different families in the community. We'll have an authentic experience by staying at the home of a local family, who will warmly welcome us and share with us delicious food prepared with healthy local products.

In the afternoon, we'll head to the highest point of Amantaní to admire a spectacular sunset over Lake Titicaca, surrounded by nature, tranquility, and unforgettable landscapes.

The next day, we'll visit Taquile Island, famous for its extraordinary textile tradition, renowned for its colorful and meaningful fabrics. During our visit, we'll learn how traditional clothing reflects aspects of the lives of its inhabitants, such as their marital status and position within the community.

Finally, after two days full of culture, nature, and authentic experiences, we will return to Puno, taking with us unique souvenirs of the communities that inhabit Lake Titicaca.
