*DAY 1*

HOTEL PICK-UP
We'll pick you up from your hotel in downtown Puno to take you to the port, where the catamaran awaits you along with dancers who will welcome you.

FOLK DANCE SHOW
Once you're all together on the Catamaran, the local guide's presentation will begin
who will describe part of the show, to start this presentation
of typical dances from Puno, where you'll listen to local music with the dancers
They'll put on a beautiful show where you can even join in the party, all before you start your visit to Lake Titicaca.

FLOATING UROS ISLANDS
After leaving the port of Puno, sailing through the waters of Lake Titicaca, the guide will start explaining things. You'll also enjoy the panoramic view of the lake until you reach the wonderful floating islands of the Uros, where you'll have the opportunity to step on these artificial islands. Here, the local inhabitants will also show you their way of life, work, and their techniques in handling the native totora plant. Then, you'll have the optional opportunity to take a ride on a totora raft.


TAQUILE NATURAL ISLAND
Once you've visited the Uros, you'll resume your journey from the Uros, sailing for about 1 hour on the catamaran until you reach Taquile Island, where you'll disembark. You'll walk around the island, discovering part of it, where you'll see cultivation terraces, local people going about their daily activities. While you walk, you'll enjoy the views that only Lake Titicaca can give you, passing through stone arches along cobbled streets. Then the guide will show you part of their culture and ancestral mastery in Taquile weaving with different embroidery and meaning. Here in the upper part, you'll enjoy a local lunch before finally making the last return trip to the port of Taquile Island.

Staying on the Floating Island of Uros
This wonderful day will end with the return on the catamaran to the Uros. Upon arriving at the Uros community on a central island, the host will be waiting to take you to your accommodation on the floating island of the Uros. Here, the family will provide your room so you can enjoy the final part of the sunset on Lake Titicaca.

*DAY TWO*

BREAKFAST ON THE FLOATING ISLAND
On the second day, your host on the Uros floating island will serve you breakfast, and then you'll enjoy the morning on Lake Titicaca. Finally, you'll head back from the Uros accommodation to the Kalapajra port and then to the city center.
