Your adventure starts early in Puerto Ayora with check-in for the ferry to Isabela. After approximately 2 hours of sailing, you'll arrive at Puerto Villamil, where the guided experience through one of the most extraordinary islands in the archipelago will begin.

Visit the Arnaldo Tupiza Giant Tortoise Breeding Center and learn about the programs dedicated to the reproduction and conservation of Isabela's giant tortoises. During the tour, you'll also have the chance to visit wetlands and lagoons where, depending on the natural conditions, you may spot flamingos and other bird species.

Then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on one of the most anticipated parts of the day: the visit to Tintoreras Islet.

Take a speedboat ride around the harbor of Puerto Villamil while looking for Galápagos penguins, blue-footed boobies, sea turtles, sea lions, and marine iguanas. Disembark for a guided hike among volcanic lava formations and discover the famous Canal de las Tintoreras, where whitetip sharks often rest.

Then swap the hike for an underwater experience. Go snorkeling accompanied by your guide with a mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, and flotation gear included. Depending on the day's conditions, you may encounter sea turtles, rays, fish, sea lions, white-tip sharks, and even penguins.

At the end, you'll return to Puerto Villamil to catch the ferry back to Santa Cruz after enjoying Isabela by land and sea in a single day.
