Drive to Achadas do Teixeira and park your car for free at the end of the trail. Meet your driver at 9:00 AM and leave your car at the end point of the route.
Get transferred from Achadas do Teixeira directly to Pico do Arieiro, where your adventure begins. The official trail access ticket is included, so you don't have to worry about organizing this part of your trip.
At Pico do Arieiro, start your independent hike along the famous PR1, enjoying some of Madeira's most impressive mountain scenery. Follow the route towards Pico Ruivo, the highest point on the island, and then continue to Achadas do Teixeira, where the hike ends.
This is a self-guided experience, giving you complete freedom to walk at your own pace. Stop to take photos, take a break whenever you want, and enjoy the mountains without having to worry about reaching the end at a certain time to catch a ride.

O ponto de encontro é no parque de estacionamento das Achadas do Teixeira. Pode estacionar aqui gratuitamente a sua viatura. O nosso motorista irá encontrá-lo no parque às 09:00 e transportá-lo até ao Pico do Areeiro. A viagem demora aproximadamente 1 hora. A partir daí, iniciará a caminhada de forma independente e ao seu próprio ritmo. A caminhada termina novamente nas Achadas do Teixeira, onde a sua viatura estará à sua espera. Por favor, chegue alguns minutos antes das 09:00.
