Depart from Bucharest in the morning and travel north through the scenic Carpathian Mountains toward Transylvania. Your first stop is Peleș Castle, one of Europe’s most beautiful royal residences, where you’ll admire its fairy-tale architecture, lavish interiors, and mountain surroundings.
Continue to Bran Castle, famously known as Dracula’s Castle. Explore the medieval fortress perched on a rocky hill, learn about the legends of Vlad the Impaler, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
In the afternoon, arrive in Brașov, a charming medieval city founded by Saxons. Walk through the historic Old Town, see landmarks such as the Black Church and Council Square, and enjoy free time to relax, shop, or have lunch at a local restaurant.
