Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe via King's Palace Museum – Canopy Walk & Zipline Adventure

Your 2 Day tour begins at 6:30am, with a scenic drive from your Hotel/Airport in Kigali and take drive through Rwanda's iconic rolling hills and picturesque countryside. En route, visit the historic King's Palace Museum, where you'll step back in time and discover the fascinating traditions of Rwanda's ancient monarchy. Meet the famous royal long-horned cows, whose majestic horns have become a symbol of Rwanda's rich cultural heritage.

Continuing toward Nyungwe, the scenery gradually transforms into endless tea plantations and mist-covered mountains, building anticipation for the rainforest adventure ahead.

Upon arrival in Nyungwe National Park, you'll have Lunch and prepare for one of Rwanda's most thrilling experiences the Canopy Walkway. Suspended nearly 70 meters above the forest floor, this spectacular bridge offers a bird's-eye view of the rainforest. As you walk above the treetops, keep your eyes open for playful monkeys leaping through the branches and colorful birds gliding beneath your feet. Few places in Africa allow you to experience a rainforest from such an extraordinary perspective.

Day 2: Waterfall Hike and Return to Kigali

After Breakfast at your Lodge, embark on a guided waterfall hike through Nyungwe's dense rainforest. The trail winds beneath towering ancient trees, across small streams, and through lush vegetation filled with butterflies and birds. Every turn reveals something new, creating a sense of curiosity and wonder. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about the forest's unique wildlife and medicinal plants.
