During this experience you will not only get a better understanding of how the majority of "Cape Tonians" live but you will also get a better understanding of what shakes their world.
This means understanding the immense struggles people here go through to make a living and/or sustain their families. Nevertheless in "Mzantsi" (Xhosa for South or South Africa) we do smile (and laugh) at almost everything even in the face of adversities.
Of course you have to meet local artisans, shop keepers, artists, street vendors to understand what Khayelitsha is about. Add a little bit of local music and street food and make your day complete.
